Dr. Seipel brings to Comprehensive Orthopaedics the unique perspective of a physical therapist-become-orthopaedic surgeon. As a physical therapist he emphasized patient education and partnership with patients to develop the most appropriate treatment and rehabilitation plan. As a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon he continues to embrace this individualized approach to patient care.

Dr. Seipel received his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin, and performed his orthopaedic surgery residency within the Medical College of Wisconsin and its affiliated hospitals. He then traveled to Sydney, Australia for additional fellowship training in orthopaedic foot and ankle surgery. Upon returning to Wisconsin in 2000, Dr. Seipel joined Comprehensive Orthopaedics.

Dr. Seipel serves as Team Physician for the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, provides coverage for athletic programs at the local schools, and served as Team Physician for the former Kenosha Mammoths baseball team.
