Dr. Gershtenson is a fellowship trained orthopaedic and hand surgeon, receiving his orthopaedic training at the University of Illinois. He was awarded a fellowship to the prestigious Christine M. Kleinert Institute for Hand and Microsurgery, which afforded him the opportunity to train with some of the legends in the field of hand surgery.

Dr. Gershtenson received his undergraduate degree in Sociology from the University of Colorado. Prior to entering medical school he obtained a Masters Degree in Physiology from Georgetown University. Specializing in surgery of the hand, Dr. Gershtenson also provides care of upper extremities and general orthopaedic care.
